Annual Dinner to take place on September 12th, 2017
St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation will hold their Annual Dinner on Tuesday September 12th from 5:00-8:30pm. The celebration will take place at the River’s Edge Convention Center. Three awards will be presented at the event this year.

As a business leader who strives to make a difference through her business as well as her involvement in a number of non-profit organizations, Linda Eich DesJardins was selected to receive the ATHENA Award. The ATHENA Award honors exceptional women leaders who inspire others to achieve excellence in their professional and personal lives. The award is presented by the Women’s Fund and sponsored by Granite Equity Partners.

Tom Mathews will be receiving the Professional Award in Philanthropy for his passion and commitment to serving his clients and his dedication to philanthropy in our community through his law practice.This award recognizes the efforts of a professional advisor such as an attorney, accountant, financial planner, or other professional who has significantly contributed to philanthropy in the region.

Gene and Sheelah Windfeldt will be receiving the Alex Didier Award in Philanthropy. A passion for the arts and youth of the community, Gene and Sheelah Windfeldt support the community through leadership, philanthropy and as active community members. This award recognizes a person or couple who has significantly contributed to the field of philanthropy in the region.
Also at this year’s event, there will be a special tribute to Dick Bernick, Dan Coborn, Mae Ellingson-Skalicky, Benedict Gorecki and Lee Torborg, for their significant involvement and contributions to our community.
