CEONet - Connecting Community Foundation Leaders to Build Stronger Communities

CEONet invites CEOs of community foundations throughout the US to become Founding Members of this new network. All CEONet members are CEOs of community foundations. Whether your budget is $100,000 or $100,000,000 there’s a way for you to connect with peers from around the country on issues that are important to your community and help you grow professionally.

Brainerd Lakes Area State of the Lakes Event

Date: Friday, June 17, 2022

Location: Gull Lake Sailing School, 19696 Love Lake Rd, Brainerd, MN

Join us to hear about The State of the Lakes Area in Brainerd, MN and be one of the first to hear about the developments in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Local leaders from key organizations presenting on topics affecting our quality of life will include: the National Loon Center on building progress; Crow Wing County Update; GCOLA on the health of area lakes and waterways; Lakes Area Chamber updates and summer activity schedules; Essentia Health System and CRMC on local healthcare services; Lakes Area Music Festival (LAMF) provide details about the upcoming summer concert series; Gull Lake Trail updates; WonderTrek Children’s Museum; the Brainerd Family YMCA and Mount Ski Gull’s summer activities; and Karl Samp from BLACF will share information on charitable giving opportunities and how BLACF is strengthening our community, especially around Gull Lake. In addition, these organizations and others may have an exhibit table and attendees can find out additional activities and request further information.

2:00-2:15 PM – Registration and Meet Your Neighbors

2:15 – 3:30 PM – Welcome and Hear from some of our local leaders and organizations such as: National Loon Center, Gull Chain of Lakes Association, Crow Wing County Boat Safety, Lakes Area Music Festival, Brainerd Family YMCA, Gull Lake Sailing School, Mount Ski Gull, Gull Lake Trail and Nisswa Lake Park, Essentia Health, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, WonderTrek Children’s Musuem, Newcomers Club, Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation and many more.

3:30-4:30 PM – Conclusion of Presentations: Visit Local Organization Displays and get your Questions Answered

5:00 PM – Event Concludes – Stay for a Dinner & Drinks if you like (in conjunction with the Sailing School’s Opening Party)!

The event will be held outside at the Gull Lake Sailing School, weather permitting. Additional organizations will be present with table displays and information. There will be an additional fee for dinner and drinks following the event and in conjunction and co-hosted with the Sailing School opening party! There is NO COST (except for dinner) for this event, but space is limited so please register by June 5th.

RACF Concert for a Cause

The ROCORI Area Community Foundation's annual event, Concert for a Cause is ready to rock and roll! The concert will benefit their Community Builder Fund and the ROCORI Area Dollars for Scholars program. The outdoor concert will feature the Super Duos.
