Alexandria Area Community Foundation to Celebrate 25th Anniversary

Alexandria, Minn. – The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) would like to cordially invite the community to join the celebration of their 25th anniversary on Monday, May 8th.  The celebration will take place at Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center from 5-8pm.  The celebration will reflect on the past 25 years of philanthropy in the community as well as present two awards to local individuals who have supported the foundation.
 
Micheal Lillehaugen will be presented the “Ruth McDonald Award in Philanthropy”.  Lillehaugen is a long-time Alexandria banker and was instrumental in the organization of the AACF in the beginning.  Lisa Bowen will be presented the “Professional Award in Philanthropy”.  Bowen is an attorney at Thornton, Reif, Dolan, Bowen & Klecker, PA. and has assisted numerous clients in achieving their philanthropic goals.
