| St. Cloud, Minn. – Five…six…seven…eight, the Women’s Fund of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation has finalized this year’s Dancing With Our Stars line-up! Women’s Fun Presents: Dancing With Our Stars is a competition that brings together community leaders with dancing pros to showcase their skills in order to raise funds for their chosen charity. Each charity is centered around supporting a wide variety of programs that benefit girls, women in transition and elder women. Dances will range from the tango and cha-cha to swing and salsa. Dance couples will practice their routines beginning months before the competition. Final scoring for the competition will be based upon a combination of judges’ scoring and dollars raised for the nonprofits – 40 percent judges’ score, 60 percent dollars raised. The 8th annual fundraising competition will feature six community star dancers, paired with a professional partner for a chance to win up to $15,000 for the nonprofit of their choice.
