Women’s Fund of CMCF Grants $163K to Women & Girls Programming

St. Cloud, Minn. – The Women’s Fund of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation has awarded $163,200 during its most recent grant rounds.

In August 2025, the Women’s Fund launched their Central Minnesota Women’s Fund and Julianne Williams Fund grant rounds. Today, both funds have awarded a combined $163,200 to 16 area organizations, all of which focus on improving the lives of women and girls in Central Minnesota.

“We are honored to support organizations whose programs uplift the well-being, resilience, and potential of women and girls in Central Minnesota. Their dedication and leadership continue to make the St. Cloud region a more vibrant place where we can all thrive,” says Claudia Revermann, Chair of the Women’s Fund Grants Committee.

The Women’s Fund allocated $148,200 to the following:

  • $10,000 was awarded to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MN for its Future Forward: Expanding Bigs on Campus for Girls program.
  • $15,000 was awarded to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota for its Not a Number: Safe Futures for Boys & Girls Club Girls program.
  • $5,000 was awarded to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud for its Financial Empowerment for Senior Women program.
  • $15,000 was awarded to the Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center for its Voices of Empowerment program.
  • $5,000 was awarded to Children’s Dental Services for its Smile Strong: Leadership and Wellness Academy for Girls program.
  • $12,000 was awarded to the Whitney Senior Center – St. Cloud for its Wisdom in Bloom: Creative and Connected Aging for Women program.
  • $15,000 was awarded to the Ellison Center for its Empowering Women & Families: Wellness, Skill Building, and Caregiver Services program.
  • $13,200 was awarded to Kitchen Unleashed for its Greater St. Cloud Food Entrepreneurship Project.
  • $15,000 was awarded to Lutheran Social Service of MN for its Enhanced Childcare to Support Vulnerable Women/Caregivers program.
  • $10,000 was awarded to Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota for its Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health Equity in St. Cloud program.
  • $9,000 was awarded to Recovery Community Network for its Women’s Pathways to Support and Recovery program.
  • $15,000 was awarded to Terebinth Refuge Health & Wellness for its Adult Female  Survivors of Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking program.
  • $9,000 was awarded to The Center for Victims of Torture for its Mental Health and Parenting Support for Somali and East African Mothers in St. Cloud program.

Additionally, the Julianne Williams Fund awarded $15,000 in grants to three organizations. The Julianne Williams Fund was established to honor the life of Julianne Marie Williams, reflect the essence of Julie and promote the building of self-esteem, safety, confidence and overall empowerment of girls and young women through outdoor activities.

The grant recipients for the Julianne Williams Fund are as follows:

  • $3,000 was awarded to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MN for its Empower Outdoors program.
  • $7,000 was awarded to Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines for its St. Cloud Girl Scouts in ACTION Summer 2026 program.
  • $5,000 was awarded to Girls on the Run Minnesota for its Empowering Girls through Girls on the Run program.

Since 2002, the Women’s Fund of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation has been dedicated to strengthening the community by improving the lives of women and girls. The Women’s Fund has granted nearly $1.6 million to support local programs in three core focus areas: girls ages 10-18, women experiencing adversity and elder women.
