Two returning and one new board member
Willmar, Minn. – The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) announced today the election of new board members and approval of additional terms for other board members. Ron Holmgren was elected to his first term on the WACF board and Pastor Jon Dahl and Heather Thompson were approved to serve their second term. WACF also announced the slate of board officers that was approved which was Sarah Klassen (Chair), Pastor Jon Dahl (Vice Chair), and Heather Thompson (Secretary).
The board of directors governs the Willmar Area Community Foundation, conducts marketing and development activities, approves grant decisions and works to engage people, connect resources and build community.
The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF), in affiliation with CommunityGiving, is a public charity that attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
