Carver County, Minn. – The Community Foundation for Carver County (CFCC), in conjunction with CommunityGiving, is pleased to announce the scholarship recipients of the Alexis Kretsch Memorial Scholarship Fund for this 2020-2021 school year.

Logan Gieseke and Allison Saunders, both from Waconia High School, each received $500 from the Alexis Kretsch Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Bob Roepke, Board Chair of the CFCC shared that, “Scholarships are so important to help students pursue further education after high school. Alexis Kretsch was a former student of Waconia High School and because of this scholarship fund and other generous donors many area graduates will have the opportunity to advance their education. Supporting students to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals is vital to the health of our community and we are so grateful to the donors who make this possible.”

CommunityGiving administers 135 separate scholarship funds, some of which serve the Carver County and the surrounding area schools. These scholarships were established by individuals, families and businesses to support area students in their educational pursuits.
