Two Grant Opportunities Available at Central Minnesota Community Foundation

St. Cloud, Minn. – The first grant opportunity is from the Women’s Fund of Central Minnesota Community Foundation.  The Women’s Fund is now accepting applications for their annual grant round.  Online applications must be completed by midnight on September 30th 2016 and can be found at www.communitygiving.org/grants.  The Women’s Fund provides funding to projects and programs that focus on the following three areas:

  • Girls age 10-18
  • Women in transition
  • Elder women

Programs or projects must be within 30 mile radius of St. Cloud and must be a program/project of a non-profit agency.  The average grant size will be between $3,000-$8,000. Previous programs or projects which have received funding include Anna Marie’s Alliance, Boys and Girl’s Club, and Catholic Charities.

The second grant opportunity is from Julianne Williams Fund. The Julianne Williams Fund was established to honor the life of Julianne Marie Williams, reflect the essence of Julianne and promotes the building of self-esteem, safety, confidence and overall empowerment of girls and young woman through outdoor activities.  Online applications will be accepted until midnight on September 30th, 2016 and can also be found at www.communitygiving.org/grants.

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) in affiliation with CommunityGiving, is a public charity that attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
