Mary Lou (Abner) Terwilliger, a proud graduate of Benson High, was known to find the good in everyone and everything, and took every opportunity she could to improve the lives of those around her. The Roy and Mary Lou (Abner) Terwilliger Scholarship will be awarded to a female student who embodies a generous spirit, commitment to community, positive attitude, impeccable character, and strong work ethic.

- Planning to attend: Two or four year US-based college in any major (full-time enrollment)

3) Work Experience, include years involved and areas of leadership/participation - Electronic Transcript: High School Students – Provide Guidance Counselor’s (GC) e-mail address. GC will be asked to upload your official transcript.
- May: Recipients will be notified via email in early May.
- June 15: Recipients must sign their scholarship agreement and provide college information. CommunityGiving will verify that you are enrolled as a full-time student at the college.(Full-time enrollment is typically 12-16 credits)
- June: Inform your college that you have received the scholarship.
- September 1: Generally, full payment will arrive at your college unless otherwise notified.
