Here are a few important things to note as you begin searching for scholarships that you may be eligible for:

• Scholarship awards must be used the year immediately following when the recipient is selected.  This does not allow for a ‘gap year.’
• Scholarship awards are split between fall and winter/spring semesters by the college/university to provide financial assistance for the entire school year.
• Checks are forwarded to college/university by September 1 each year.
