Sauk Centre Area Community Foundation Opens Inaugural Grant Round

Sauk Centre, Minn. – The Sauk Centre Area Community Foundation (SCACF) is ecstatic to announce the opening of their first ever Community Impact Grant Round. The SCACF seeks to make grants that will help build our community in bringing about a lasting, positive change in the Sauk Centre area. The Foundation is looking to provide leadership and financial support that builds a community partnership in order to advance the project or initiatives.

The Sauk Centre Area Community Foundation Community Impact Grant Round seeks to fund programs that focus on supporting: youth initiatives and education including Pre-K-12 and after school programs; productive aging that promotes healthy aging; activities that generate appreciation for diversity and improve cultural opportunities; activities that build, promote and preserve communities; promote recreation, health education, physical and mental health and that reduce abuse and violence; and capital projects. Eligible organizations must be a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, school, or government entity who serve residents of the Sauk Centre School District (ISD 743) area. The SCACF Community Impact Grant Round will open for applications from September 15th, 2021 to November 1st,2021. The Sauk Centre Area Community Foundation (SCACF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local Sauk Centre area. Since 2015, SCACF has grown to over $2.8 million in assets and awarded nearly $3 million in grants to nonprofits. The SCACF is governed by a local board of directors and is a partner of CommunityGiving, which is a collaborative of community foundations united under a single framework to create efficiencies that maximize the impact of our donors.
