Rockville-Cold Spring-Richmond, Minn. – Five ROCORI area organizations were awarded grants through the ROCORI Area Community Foundation’s Community Builder Fund, totaling $20,000.
- Great Northern Theatre Company received $5,000 for its GNTC’s Elf: The Musical and Winter Wonderland Family Event.
- ROCORI First Robotics through Independent School District No. 750 ROCORI Schools received $5,0000 for its ROCORI FIRST Robotics Community Education program.
- Cold Spring Area Soccer Club received $3,600 for its Soccer Equipment Update to Match Growing Enrollment project
- Cold Spring Area Historical Society received $3,400 for its Cold Spring Area Historical Society building improvement project.
- Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity received $3,000 for its Spartan Build 2 project.
The purpose of the RACF Community Builder Grant is to provide funding for projects or initiatives that will build our communities by bringing about lasting, positive change to the ROCORI area. It serves the cities of Rockville, Cold Spring, and Richmond, including an approximate 5-mile radius around each city.
