Rockville-Cold Spring-Richmond, Minn. – Four ROCORI area organizations were awarded grants through the ROCORI Area Community Foundation’s Community Builder Fund, totaling $20,000.
- Great Northern Theatre Company received $5,000 for its Newsies and Youth Theatre.
- St. Nicholas Athletic Association received $5,000 for its New Grandstand and Backstop.
- River of Life Church received $5,000 for its ROCORI Action Packs program.
- Junior Achievement North received $5,000 for its JA BizTown program.
The purpose of the RACF Community Builder Grant is to provide funding for projects or initiatives that will build our communities by bringing about lasting, positive change to the ROCORI area. It serves the cities of Rockville, Cold Spring, and Richmond, including an approximate 5-mile radius around each city.
RACF’s Annual Concert for a Cause fundraising event helps support the ROCORI Area Community Builder Fund which funds the Foundation’s annual grant round.
The ROCORI Area Community Foundation (RACF), a partner of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation and powered by CommunityGiving, is a public charity that attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
