Paynesville, MN – The Paynesville Area Community Foundation (PACF), in partnership with CommunityGiving, is pleased to announce that Randy Schaefer has been chosen to serve as the first Executive Director of the organization.
“I am honored to have been selected to serve in this role and have the opportunity to be involved broader in the community. In the coming weeks, I will be connecting with the foundation board members, fundholders, non-profit organizations and area leaders to learn more about the foundation and the opportunities to serve the community. I am excited to engage with you and be involved in all the great things that we will continue to work on together for the betterment of the area for today and for the future,” shared Randy Schaefer, new Executive Director of the PACF.
Randy joined the foundation in late January 2023 as the inaugural Executive Director for the Paynesville Area Community Foundation. Born and raised in Paynesville, he returned to the community in 2022 after a 36-year career in technology and operations leadership in the Financial Services industry. He has a passion for being involved in the community through connecting with people and organizations and engaging in activities for the benefit of the community. Randy’s broad business background includes experience in strategic planning, program and project management, business management, event management, technology management, operations management and analytics. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, biking, camping, hiking, boating, playing cards and board games, and spending time with family and friends.
