RACF Opens Community Builder Grant Round

Rockville-Cold Spring-Richmond, Minn. – The ROCORI Area Community Foundation (RACF) is opening its ROCORI Area Community Builder grant round as of March 1, 2025. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2025.

The purpose of this grant round is to provide grant funding for projects or initiatives that will build our communities by bringing about positive change to the ROCORI area. These projects and initiatives include new or expanded programs/projects, capital projects and other strategic investments that will have a lasting impact.

Last year, the RACF Community Builder Fund awarded $20,000 in grants to programs that are making a difference in our communities now and into the future. The 2024 grants positively impacted nearly 1760 individuals in the ROCORI community. Since 2017, the RACF Community Builder Fund has been able to award nearly $126,000 in grants to 33 different programs and organizations within the ROCORI area.

To be eligible to receive a grant, organizations must be a 501c3 nonprofit, school, or government entity. This grant serves the cities of Rockville, Cold Spring, and Richmond, including an approximate 5-mile radius around each city. Grants awarded will range between $500 and $5,000. Focus areas for this grant round include education, social services, arts and culture, and civic.

The ROCORI Area Community Foundation’s board consists of local leaders that are passionate about making the ROCORI area a great place to do business, live, work and play.

Board members include Don Burge (Chair), Jan Dingmann (Secretary), Kyle Knudson (Treasurer), Roger Bechtold, Karen Blattner, Ron Clark, Amy Dingman, Pat Donlin, Sandy Hansen-Wolff, Stacy Kalthoff, Nick Koop Derek Mueller and Bruce Price. Board members meet every other month to keep up to date on philanthropy opportunities and to be aware of the activities in the ROCORI area.
