Alexandria, Minn. – The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) gathered over 300 community members at Carlos Creek Winery on Monday, October 7, for its Annual Celebration of Philanthropy Social, an evening dedicated to recognizing those who exemplify generosity in the Alexandria area
The highlight of the evening was the honorees that were presented awards during the presentation. Josh Tatge of Ameriprise Financial received the Professional Award in Philanthropy for his work in the community as an advocate for philanthropy. Meanwhile, Ed and Kay Rooney, alongside Bruce Pohlig and the late Kathleen Pohlig, were each recognized with the Ruth McDonald Award in Philanthropy. These honorees were celebrated for their passion in making Alexandria a welcoming and thriving community for all.
