Paynesville, Minn. – The Paynesville Area Community Foundation (PACF) is opening their general grant round on February 1st, 2025. It will close at 11:59 p.m., March 31, 2025. For additional information and the online application, visit communitygiving.org/foundation/pacf/grants.
Eligible organizations must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, school or government entity that serve residents within the Paynesville Area school district.
PACF will focus its grant making primarily on applications from organizations providing service in the areas of:
- Education
- Social Services
- Arts and Culture
- Civic
- Recreational
- Health
Favorable considerations are programs that make a sustainable positive impact in the community and build or support collaborative efforts that involve other community partners such as other nonprofits, government entities, businesses and citizen groups. Also, initiatives likely to make a difference in the quality of life and have the potential to inspire additional investments in the community, will be considered. In 2024, the Paynesville Area Community Foundation was able to grant $38,000 to four local organizations which included $20,000 to support the building of an all inclusive early childhood playground through Paynesville Area Community Education, $10,000 to support field lighting with Regal Youth Baseball Club, $6,000 to support the Lake Henry Fire & Rescue acquiring new equipment and $2,000 to Paynesville Historical Society to support their Kids History Camp.
The Paynesville Area Community Foundation (PACF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community. Since 2008, PACF grown to over $7.3 million in assets and awarded over $1.2 million in grants to the community. The PACF is governed by a local board and is a partner foundation of CommunityGiving, a network of community foundations united to create efficiencies that maximize the impact of donors.
