New Philanthropic Partnership for CommunityGiving

The Community Foundation for Carver County Joins CG 
St. Cloud, Minn. – CommunityGiving (CG) is pleased to announce that the Community Foundation for Carver County (CFCC) will be joining the organization as an affiliate foundation. As a philanthropic support organization that supports and empowers community foundations, CommunityGiving works with nine other community foundations and administers nearly 800 funds totaling more than $140 million and has granted over $106.2 million back into the community.

Steve Joul, President/CEO of CommunityGiving, stated, “We look forward to working alongside their board and communities to further their vision of making Carver County a great place to live, work and play.” 

The Community Foundation for Carver County was established in 2004 and serves all of the county including the communities of  Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska, Cologne, Hamburg, Mayer, New Germany, Norwood-Young America, Victoria, Waconia, and Watertown. Currently, the CFCC has 13 funds totaling $1.5 million in assets.

Their expertise in the field of philanthropy accompanied by their passion for helping community foundations like ours makes them a great fit to help us take our work to the next level and impact more people in our communities.”

CommunityGiving is a collaboration of community foundations united under a single framework to create efficiencies that maximize the impact of our donors.  The core foundations working with CommunityGiving include the Alexandria Area Community Foundation, the Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation, the Central Minnesota Community Foundation and the Willmar Area Community Foundation.  Collectively, CommunityGiving administers nearly 800 funds totaling more than $140 million and has granted over $106.2 million back into the community.
