Clare Richards and Scott Warzecha Join Board

St. Cloud, Minn. – Two new members have joined the Central Minnesota Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. Clare Richards and Scott Warzecha will each serve a three-year term on the board, beginning November 2021.

Clare Richards is the co-founder and Vice President of a socially-focused startup called Impacks. Based out of St. Cloud, Impacks provides a simple, convenient way for families to purchase school supplies online, while also partnering with schools to help them fundraise. Clare is creative by trade with a strong love for building vibrancy through action and storytelling. Her experience in starting organizations also includes a nonprofit she co-founded in 2015 called the Saint Cloud Rotaract. When she isn’t volunteering or working, she can be found reading a good book or playing her ukulele.

“I’m thrilled to serve on the Central Minnesota Community Foundation board because I believe the CMCF plays the long game when it comes to positive community impact. While the organization is quick to respond to immediate needs, there is also always an ongoing effort to address deeply-rooted challenges. I believe this focus on foundational impact will set the Greater St. Cloud Region up for a fruitful future,” says Clare Richards.

Scott Warzecha is the current President of Catholic Community schools in St. Cloud. In his role, he provides visionary leadership to seven elementary schools and one middle school and high school. Fund development and enrollment management are two of his main priorities that impact student success. Scott previously was the CEO of Netgain Technology, a national leader in creating and maintaining cloud-based, electronic health record solutions.

“I’m blessed to be asked to serve on the Central Minnesota Community Foundation’s board. Over the years, I’ve watched CMCF grow from an idea to an admirable organization that has significantly impacted the region it serves. Great communities just don’t happen, they are planned and fearlessly realized. Being a CMCF board member allows me to give the greatest contribution I can to our community,” says Scott Warzecha.

The CMCF Board of Directors guides the organization in the mission to engage people, connect resources and build community. All board members include Janet Grones – Chair, Erin Bitzan – Vice Chair, Paul Thompson – Secretary, Jim Schlenner- Treasurer, Jason Bernick, Stefanie Brown, Annesa Cheek, Ryan Daniel, John Herges, Joanne Kudrna, Steve Laraway, Clare Richards, Tohow Siyad and Scott Warzecha.
