| Alexandria, Minn. – The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF), in conjunction with CommunityGiving, is pleased to announce the recipient of the Thomas Reif Memorial Scholarship Fund for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. Lindsey Knoll of Alexandria, MN will be receiving $1,000 from the fund to continue her education at University of North Dakota. CommunityGiving administers 77 separate scholarship funds, some of which serve the Alexandria area and the surrounding area schools. These scholarships were established by individuals, families and businesses to support area students in their educational pursuits. “Scholarships are so important to help students attend college and achieve their dreams,” said Kathy Pfeffer, Executive Director of the AACF. “Scholarships not only provide financial support but also convey a message to the students from our donors that says ‘We support you. We want you to succeed.’” The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) in affiliation with CommunityGiving, is a public charity that attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
