The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) channels all grants through an online grant system. This will make it easier to receive and evaluate online applications, record decisions, and measure the outcomes using this online grants system. To apply, select the "Learn More" link associated with the grant round you are interested in. No paper applications will be accepted. All grant applications must be submitted online by midnight on the deadline.

WACF Arts Grants

The purpose of the Fund for the Arts program is to support small and medium-sized arts organizations in the Willmar area. The fund also supports arts activities conducted by community organizations. The Fund for the Arts is an important resource for both new and existing arts organizations. It allows depth and diversity of the arts in Willmar and makes the arts more accessible to area residents. A Grants Committee assists in administering the Fund for the Arts program and advises the Foundation on the disbursement of fund from the Fund for the Arts.

The WACF hopes to strengthen area organizations in their ability to provide services for their target audience. As such, applications must make the case that the grant will help the organization serve it’s constituents more cost effectively and have a positive impact or; Kandiyohi County and its residents.
