The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) is proud to partner with neighbors like you to create a stronger, more vibrant Kandiyohi County. Our board members not only guide our mission—they personally invest in the well-being of our community and help us meet critical needs when it matters most.
Because of you, the WACF was able to:
- Lead and coordinate when disaster strikes – like during recent flood relief efforts, where more than 50+ households in need were helped.
- In the past year, the Good Samaritan Fund supported 15 families, including 23 adults and 33 children, through challenging situations.
- Convene Bridge Builders meetings that strengthen and train 26 local nonprofits, in fundraising, operations, and governance, empowering them to serve our community more effectively and sustainably.
- Launch new efforts like GiVE365, engaging people across our community in learning about and supporting the causes that matter most.
