We created the Raghav Cares Fund in loving memory of our beloved Raghav, whose life was tragically cut short in a bicycle accident on October 5, 2025. Raghav was a seventh-grade student at Sartell Middle School, a child filled with joy, warmth, and extraordinary kindness. His gentle spirit brought comfort and light to everyone around him, leaving a lasting imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though his time with us was brief, the love he shared, the compassion he lived by, and the kindness he practiced continue to guide and inspire us every day. Through this fund, we seek to carry those values forward and extend their reach to others in meaningful ways.
A Heart Full of Compassion
From an early age, Raghav displayed a rare sensitivity toward all living beings. At just two and a half years old, he asked for an umbrella—not for himself, but because he worried the rain would destroy the ants’ home. At five, upon seeing a homeless person, he innocently asked:
“Mom, we have an extra room at home. Why can’t we give it to that person?”
Raghav believed deeply that helping others was not a choice but a responsibility, a belief he carried throughout his life.
Love for Nature
Raghav treated nature with profound respect. He never intentionally harmed an insect, and if he ever did by accident, he would softly say “sorry,” believing every life mattered. He hugged trees and lovingly said, “I love trees,” often speaking about the importance of protecting the environment so future generations could live in harmony. His wisdom and awareness extended far beyond his years.
A Joyful Spirit
Raghav found happiness in life’s simple wonders—flying on airplanes, fishing gently and always releasing the fish, and playing music.
He played both the trumpet and the viola. He especially loved the trumpet, as being part of the school band was one of his happiest experiences. The energetic, uplifting music they created together brought him great joy. At the same time, he often shared that the viola offered a different kind of fulfillment. It was his quiet space—a source of calm and reflection that balanced the lively spirit he expressed through band music.
Raghav was also generous beyond his years, willingly donating his own pocket money to charity simply because he wanted to help others.
A Gentle Soul
At twelve years old, Raghav carried himself with humility, sincerity, and quiet grace. His warm smile, attentive listening, and respectful nature made people feel instantly at ease. He welcomed everyone without hesitation, creating a sense of belonging wherever he went. Those in his presence felt seen, valued, and accepted.
His Legacy
Raghav will not only be remembered, but he will also be forever cherished. He never sought recognition for doing what was right; he did it simply because it was right. His selflessness, kindness, and gentle courage touched countless lives in ways words can scarcely express. Everywhere he went, he spread love freely and without expectation.
