The role of the Greater White Bear Lake Community Foundation (GWBLCF) is to help people and organizations make a difference for the seven communities that share the shores of White Bear Lake. The GWBLCF exists to help donors change lives through philanthropy. You, our donors and partners, make it possible for us to be part of the solution as we work together to address the needs of our community.
With your support the GWBLCF has:
- Given over $3.2 million to non-profits through the foundation and donor advised funds since 2015.
- Provided support to over 75 non-profits.
- This year, 24 local organizations received Community Partners Grant awards.
- Created unique community partnerships like the Manitou Fund Art Fund and the Wendy Jo Shaffer Foundation.
- Launched the Greater White Bear Lake Community Response Fund, creating a way to support our neighbors in need during times of disaster.
Every contribution is 100% reinvested back into the local community through our operations, granting, and strategic initiatives.
