Waconia American Legion Post 150 launched our Veteran Monuments Restoration Fund in early 2021 with an objective of ensuring that monuments that stand as a tribute to those who have selflessly served in the military, defending our freedom and our way of life, are maintained for generations to come. Since that time the fund has been used to successfully restore the World War I Veterans Monument, the Civil War Cannon, and the Civil War Soldiers Monument located in Waconia, Minnesota at City Square Park.
By donating to the Veteran Monuments Restoration Fund, you continue to support the ongoing efforts to restore and maintain monuments that serve as reminders of the courage and sacrifices that have been made by so many to protect our nation and our values.
