Be a leading force for improving ROCORI area communities by fostering generosity, civic engagement and unity.

  • Assist where the needs are greatest and the benefits to all ROCORI area residents will be substantial.
  • Provide charitable donors a vehicle to utilize gifting options that work now and in the future to insure maximum benefit to both donor and the ROCORI area.
  • Provide excellent stewardship of the gifts received.
“How wonderful that nobody need wait a single moment to improve the world.”

Leave Your Legacy

RACF gives individuals and families an opportunity to leave a legacy for future generations by setting up charitable funds which can benefit their favorite charities today into the future. Types of funds include:

  • Designated Funds: Direct your grant to a specific, established charity.
  • Donor Advised Funds: Recommend your grant go toward a specific, established charity.
  • Field of Interest Funds: Recommend your grant go toward a special interest category (i.e. the arts, athletics, scholarships, etc.)
  • Unrestricted Funds: Allow the local RACF board to direct your grant to meet the needs of the community.

Learn more about how you can establish a fund at RACF by contacting us at (320) 253-4380, by talking to a member of the RACF board or emailing

State Bank of Richmond

State Bank of Richmond Fund

The State Bank of Richmond has been part of the community since 1904. With Richmond’s growth and success, the bank has grown too, prompting them to give back. In 1988, they established a fund to provide scholarships to high school seniors in the Richmond community to help them attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

Through the ROCORI Area Community Foundation, we currently administer three scholarship funds for area students. Through CommunityGiving, you have access to these and other scholarships directed at central Minnesota students, both high school and college level! View scholarship opportunities here; applications open December 1.

A group of ROCORI leaders initiated plans to find a partner to develop a charitable foundation for our community in 2011 and formed an official partnership with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation in 2012.
