At CommunityGiving, our focus is on enabling local communities to solve local problems. Our community foundation and fund partners are able to concentrate on finding new donors and identifying worthy nonprofits and projects which need local funds to get to the next level. Meanwhile, at CommunityGiving, we handle all of the paperwork and administrative tasks so the local community foundation can do what they do best.
We’re proud to have grown our network of foundations and funds to a total of nine communities with combined total assets of $140 million, with 81.6% of all grants awarded staying in the Minnesota community. Among our network we have 2,292 donors making these grants and scholarships happen with 510 volunteers working hard to support the community foundation mission.
“What is the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone?”
– Sir Winston Churchill
