| St. Cloud, Minn.— CommunityGiving announced today Dr. Kathleen Allen has joined the Board of Directors for the organization. Dr. Kathleen Allen is President of her own consulting firm, Kathleen Allen and Associates. In her consulting practice, she specializes in leadership coaching and organizational change in non-profit organizations, foundations, small to mid-sized businesses, community development, and collaborative networks. She has worked extensively with community foundations around the country. She is the author of Leading from the Roots: Nature Inspired Leadership Lessons for Today’s World. Dr. Allen has written many articles, and contributed to a variety of books including The Transforming Leader: New Approaches to Leadership for the Twenty-first Century (Pearson, 2012) and Innovation in Environmental Leadership: Critical Perspectives (Redekop, Gallagher, & Satterwhite Eds., 2018), and writes a weekly blog on leadership in living systems. CommunityGiving is a collaboration of community foundations united under a single framework to create efficiencies that maximize the impact of our donors.
