Years of hard work have led to success for Bob and Nancy Ferche. Founders of Ferche Millwork and owners from 1958-1988, Bob and Nancy have been blessed with a successful business and a wonderful family. The Bob and Nancy Ferche Family Fund has been set up to share the wealth and blessings that Bob and Nancy have experienced while living in Central Minnesota.

Bob is a lifelong resident of St. Stephen and Nancy was born in South Dakota but grew up in Rochester, Minnesota. They married in 1970 and have four children. They enjoy fishing, hunting and traveling. Bob and Nancy also spend a lot of time on their 1,600-acre tree farm. Named Minnesota Tree Farmers of the Year in 2000, they have planted and cared for more than 150,000 trees.

Bob served on the board of directors for the Boy Scouts for years. Nancy is a past member of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation board and past trustee at the College of Saint Benedict. Both Bob and Nancy have served on the board of directors at the Boys and Girls Club. They are also active in their church in St. Stephen.

Bob and Nancy use their fund so that they may continuously give to different human service organizations. The Ferches also give to the community through their tree farm. The Ferches were the first loggers to donate timber to Habitat for Humanity. The timber donated by the Ferches was enough to build 10 homes.
