It’s your senior year of high school and you have your whole life ahead of you, you’ve dreamed of being a nurse since you stood by your mom’s side through her cancer treatments, but with recently being adopted into a new family and the price of a higher education climbing, this dream feels as if it’s never going to happen. This is the story of Sharon Voeller, a Julie Ann Hanson scholarship recipient. Sharon like many other students in our area, are burdened by the cost of going to college and need the support of generous donors to achieve their dreams.
