Carol and Clifford Stiles focus on education and scholarships helped drive the formation of the Foley Area Community Foundation in 2004. Together their philanthropic goals helped provide numerous scholarships for area students to help them achieve their higher education aspirations. Both Clifford and Carol have since passed away, however their legacy of giving has lived on through their scholarship fund and children.
