St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) is excited to announce the recipients of it’s first Difference Maker Grant. The Lion Community Enrichment Programs, Inc. received a $21,600 grant, the Local Education & Activities Foundation–LEAF received a $10,000 grant, #unitecloud received a $20,000 grant and Terebinth Refuge received a $11,400 grant.
Lion Community Enrichment Programs, Inc. will be using their $21,600 grant to fund the Adolescent African American Males project. LEAF will be putting their $10,000 grant towards their project to support Activities Participation for Students Funds. #unitecloud will be using their $20,000 grant for their project for Transforming Communities through Education and Engagement. Finally, Terebinth Refuge will be putting their $11,400 grant towards Survivors Working to Better their Community.
CMCF seeks to make significant grants that will bring lasting, positive change throughout Central Minnesota. Through the grants, CMCF looks to build partnerships that support education, economy and community engagement. “We want to help create innovative solutions to community challenges and make a sustainable, visible and positive impact in the local community,” stated Caryl Turnow, CMCF Executive Director.
