St. Cloud, Minn. – The Women’s Fund of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation has made the difficult decision to hit the pause button on this year’s Women’s Fund Dancing With Our Stars event, scheduled to be held on June 15th at the College of St. Bens. We feel it is the best course of action and the most responsible decision we can make for the health and safety of everyone involved in the live dance performance, our committee members, the CMCF staff, guests and our community.
We want to take a moment and thank each and every individual who has committed their time, talents, resources, and sponsorship to the Dancing With Our Stars event, particularly the planning committee, dancers, charities, StudioJeff, our generous sponsors and supporters. While we are hitting pause on the 2020 event, we intend to bring you an outstanding event in 2021 with the same Community Stars, professional dancers and benefiting charities.
The Women’s Fund Dancing With Our Stars event brings our community together around a passion to support much needed programs benefiting girls, women, and elder women. Our mission is to strengthen communities by improving the lives of women and girls, and we remain diligently committed to that work.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, volunteers, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this coronavirus.
The Women’s Fund is an initiative of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation.
Thank you for your support,
Women’s Fund of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation
