St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) is excited to announce the opening of the Central Minnesota Boys and Men Competitive Grant Round. This new grant round will open September 1, 2024 with an application deadline of October 31, 2024.
CMCF is seeking proposals for programs and projects that address key challenges facing males, such as educational disparities, mental health stigma, fatherhood support, and career development opportunities.
Greta Stark-Kraker is the Executive Director for CMCF. She says this grant round will support initiatives that will uplift and empower boys and men in our community.
“The purpose of this grant round is to cultivate a more equitable and supportive environment where all boys and men can thrive and contribute meaningfully to our community,” says Stark-Kraker.
The following are focus areas for this grant round: Education and skill-building, fatherhood and family engagement, mental health support, mentorship and leadership development, and positive masculinity promotion.
For the grant round, programs or projects must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit, school or government entity and serve residents in Benton, Stearns and/or Sherburne counties. Preference will be given to organizations with an annual budget of $500,000 or less. Online applications can be found at: communitygiving.org/grants
