St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Special Needs Fund has awarded $20,000 to two local organizations, through its recent grant round. The fund is supported by the Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF).
The Central Minnesota Special Needs grants go toward supporting programming that serves those with complex intellectual and physical disabilities. The following organizations have received grants:
ConnectAbility of MN received $8,600 for their 2023 Connect Programs which helps bridge the gap for people with visible and invisible barriers.
WACOSA received $11,400 for their “It’s all about Dignity” program.
Last year, The Central Minnesota Special Needs grant round was also able to grant out $20,000.
The next Central Minnesota Special Needs grant round is scheduled to open September 2023.
The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
