St. Cloud, Minn. – A grant round that helps support organizations that serve those with special needs is open through the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. The Central Minnesota Special Needs Fund grant round supports programming that serves those with complex intellectual and physical disabilities.
The grant application deadline for the Central Minnesota Special Needs grant is October 31, 2024.
Last year, the Central Minnesota Special Needs grant round was able to grant out $15,000. The following organizations received Central Minnesota Special Needs Grants:
- ConnectAbility of MN received $5,000 for its ‘Bridging the Gaps through Adaptive Equipment Connection and Donated Equipment’ programs.
- WACOSA received $5,000 for its ‘WACOSA Lifts for the South’ program.
- Options Inc. received $5,000 for its ‘Enhancing Learning and Enrichment Experiences through Technology’ program.
Eligible organizations must be 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, schools or governmental entities. The grant must serve the residents of Benton, Stearns or Sherburne counties or the communities of Kimball or Watkins.
