Central Minnesota Special Needs Grant Round Accepting Applications

St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) announced today the Central Minnesota Special Needs Fund will begin accepting grant applications on September 1, 2020. The Central Minnesota Special Needs grants will support programming that serves those with complex intellectual and physical disabilities. Application deadline for this grant round is October 28, 2020.
 
Eligible organizations must be 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, schools or governmental entities.  The grant must serve the residents of Benton, Stearns or Sherburne counties or the communities of Kimball or Watkins. Last year, the Central Minnesota Special Needs Fund was able to grant out $20,000 to benefit two programs. WACOSA received $16,000 to support programming that provided physical therapy to individuals with complex intellectual and physical disabilities and the Muscular Dystrophy Association received $4,000 to support summer camp programming to youth with the neuromuscular disease.

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community.
