St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) is welcoming three new members to its Board of Directors. Tosh Brinkerhoff, Erik Johnson, Colleen Schumann will each serve a three-year term on the board, beginning July 2026.
Tosh Brinkerhoff – Rotochopper
Tosh Brinkerhoff is President and Chief Executive Officer of Rotochopper, a Central Minnesota-based manufacturer with customers around the world. Since joining the company in 2019, he has led a period of significant growth while strengthening the company’s culture, leadership, and long-term organizational capabilities. In 2023, Granite Partners recognized Tosh with its Executive Cornerstone Award for his collaborative leadership, stakeholder stewardship, and commitment to creating lasting value.
Tosh believes strong businesses have a responsibility to strengthen the communities they call home. Under his leadership, Rotochopper has expanded its commitment to Central Minnesota through partnerships focused on education, workforce development, community engagement, and health and well-being. He is passionate about creating opportunities for young people and helping ensure Central Minnesota remains a place where families, businesses, and communities can thrive.
A collaborative and values-driven leader, Tosh believes leadership is rooted in integrity, service, and genuine relationships. He is committed to developing people, building trust, and bringing organizations together around a shared purpose. Throughout his career, he has sought to create environments where employees, customers, business partners, and communities all succeed together.
Tosh and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of five sons and are grateful to call Central Minnesota home. Family remains the foundation of his life and leadership. Together they have invested many years coaching youth sports, mentoring young people, serving in church leadership and ministry, and supporting community organizations.
Tosh is honored to serve the board of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation and is committed to advancing philanthropy, strengthening partnerships, and helping build a vibrant region where future generations can live, work, and prosper.
Erik Johnson – K. Johnson Construction
Erik Johnson currently serves as Vice President of Operations for K. Johnson Construction, a 39-year family owned commercial construction company based in Sauk Rapids. Since joining in 2020, Erik has helped lead the company with his father, Kevin Johnson, through strategic partnerships and employee retention. Erik enjoys all facets of the construction process; from assisting clients with design-development budgeting, project forecasting, estimating, project management and closeout, he is involved from start to finish on any and all projects that K. Johnson Construction participates in.
The recent completion of the CentraCare ASC and PT/OT projects helps reinforce K. Johnson Construction’s capabilities in the Central Minnesota community. The team at K. Johnson Construction started the project in October of 2024, and was there until the very end in July of 2026. The most rewarding part: having employees assist in constructing the buildings, while knowing that many of them will likely need to use the facilities after completion. A true full-circle moment for the company, and something that Erik and Kevin reinforce through giving back to the Central Minnesota community.
Outside of his daily role at K. Johnson Construction, Erik is also a part of the Minnesota DEED Governors Workforce Development Board – joining in the Spring of 2026. Erik and his father, Kevin, also own and operate ESG Companies, a real estate development company focused on revitalization and redevelopment of properties on the East Side of St. Cloud. Erik and his wife, Tessa, own and operate Harvester Square, a wedding and event venue on the East Side of St. Cloud.
Erik is excited to be a part of the future of St. Cloud, by encouraging local business engagement through revitalization of East Side and Downtown St. Cloud. He loves seeing individuals, teams and companies thrive through economic and social development.
He and his wife, Tessa, reside in Otsego with their 21-month old daughter, Zoey.
Colleen Schumann – Gallagher
Colleen is a dedicated Benefits Consultant specializing in public sector employer benefit programs. With several years of industry experience, Colleen has developed deep expertise across all benefit lines of coverage (Medical, Dental, Spending Accounts, Life, Disability, Worksite Products, etc.) and funding types, including fully insured and self-funded arrangements. She is committed to delivering tailored solutions that address the unique needs of public entities, helping organizations manage costs, mitigate risks, and enhance employee wellbeing. Known for her strategic guidance and innovative approach, Colleen builds lasting partnerships and delivers value-driven results for clients.
Colleen began her career in insurance in 2019 at Mahowald Insurance Agency, where she gained foundational experience in the industry. In December 2022, Mahowald Insurance Agency was acquired by Gallagher, providing Colleen with the opportunity to continue her professional growth within a global organization. Over the years, she advanced through a variety of roles, including Client Associate, Client Manager and Consultant, developing a deep understanding of client needs and building strong industry relationships. In November 2024, Colleen briefly left Gallagher to pursue an opportunity with the Minnesota Healthcare Consortium (MHC), a cooperative self-insured medical pool serving over 300 employers across Minnesota. As an Insurance Account Manager at MHC, she gained valuable experience working within the large, complex, self-funded pooled arrangement and supporting renewals for each pool member. She excelled at supporting each of the public sector pool’s member needs by providing excellent service. In January 2026, Colleen returned to Gallagher, bringing her expanded expertise and a renewed focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
Colleen is deeply committed to making a positive impact in both her professional and personal life. Actively engaged in her community, Colleen volunteers her time through Rotary and her church, mentors youth, and is passionate about helping others achieve their goals.
