Central Minnesota Community Foundation Grants $40K to Local Organizations

St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation is awarding $40,000 in grants to local organizations that support those with special needs or boys and men’s programming.

The Central Minnesota Special Needs grants go toward supporting programming that serves those with complex intellectual and physical disabilities. The following organizations have received grants:

  • $4,100 was awarded to ConnectAbility of MN for its 2026 Access to Assistive Technology through AEC and AT Lab initiative. 
  • $10,000 was awarded to Sartell Area Lions for its ADA Restroom w Adult Changing Table and Shelter for (2) wheelchair-accessible picnic tables project.
  • $7,500 was awarded to True Friends for its Therapeutic and Adaptive Riding for Children with Developmental and Physical Disabilities program. 
  • $8,400 was awarded to WASCOSA for its Lift and Connect: Adaptive Equipment Project.

The Central Minnesota Boys and Men’s Fund grants supports programs or projects that address key challenges facing males, such as educational disparities, mental health stigma, fatherhood support, and career development opportunities. The following organizations have received grants:

  • $2,500 was awarded to Rivers of Hope for its Men Moving Forward program.
  • $2,500 was awarded to The Yes Network to created a workshop series to help men promote mental health and education for teen boys.
  • $2,500 was awarded to the United Way of Central Minnesota for its Community Mentorship: Fostering Resilience in Young Black Men program.
  • $2,500 was awarded to What Would Bri Do dba Bri’s Lodge for its Healing Through Loss: Grief & Postvention Support for Boys and Men program.
