Call for Nominations: 2025 CFCC Award in Philanthropy

Carver County, Minn. – The Community Foundation for Carver County (CFCC) is delighted to invite nominations for the third annual Award in Philanthropy. This esteemed award recognizes individuals and companies that have made remarkable contributions to philanthropy within Carver County. Whether through personal generosity, volunteerism, or professional expertise in guiding others toward philanthropic initiatives, nominees should embody a spirit of dedication and positive impact on our community.

Nominations for the 2025 Award in Philanthropy are now open and will be accepted until March 7, 2025. We encourage community members to nominate deserving individuals, couples or businesses whose philanthropic efforts have made a significant difference in Carver County. Last year, we were honored to celebrate the philanthropic efforts of Paul Melchert, Bob Roepke, and Mackenthun’s. Their outstanding contributions have set a strong example of generosity in our county.

The Community Foundation for Carver County (CFCC) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community. Since 2004, the CFCC has grown to over $1.1 million in assets and awarded over $531,000 in grants to non-profits. The CFCC is governed by a local board of directors and is a partner of CommunityGiving, which is a network of community foundations united under a single framework to create efficiencies that maximize the impact of our donors.
