Grant Deadline is February 1st

Brainerd, Minn. – The Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation (BLACF) announced today that their annual Brainerd Lakes Area Grant round is now accepting applications.

The Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation seeks to make two kinds of grants:  Smaller grants for general operations and programs that address changing community needs, and significant grants that will be the “Difference Maker” in bringing about a lasting, positive change in the Brainerd Lakes area.

Applications must address one or more of the following focus areas: work force development, education, human services, arts and culture, and civic. Organizations applying for a grant must be nonprofit, charitable organizations designated as 501(c)3 by the Internal Revenue Service and must serve the residents of Crow Wing or Southern Cass counties.
