Brainerd, Minn. – The Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce the results of our challenges matches which launched in December for four of our community nonprofits. Through community support and generous fundholders, all of the matches have been met and over $170,000 will be used to strengthen our community. EVERY DOLLAR HAS BEEN MATCHED– doubling the impact for these local nonprofits providing critical basic needs, arts, and more.
The match grants were presented by fund partners of the Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation, including the Anderson Family Fund, the Bergin Family Fund, the Charles McQuinn Memorial Fund, the Hunt Family Fund, the Sue & Dan Meyer Do Good Fund, and the Thomas Spicola Family Fund. These matches will ensure that the Lakes Area Food Shelf, My Neighbor To Love Coalition, Bridges of Hope, and the Lakes Area Music Festival can continue to meet the needs of our community.
Every gift mattered. Thank you to all who gave so generously to ensure this goal was met.
Since 1998, the Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation has been helping passionate people make a difference in the lives of others and their community. By giving through the Community Foundation with an individual, business, general interest, or scholarship fund, donors amplify their giving impact. Donors support the causes they care most about today, while helping grow community funds to meet the needs of the community tomorrow. Together, the Community Foundation and fund partners have awarded over $12 million in grants, addressing community needs and growing opportunities. Please join us to ensure that our community thrives for generations to come. We are proud to partner with a collaborative network of other local community foundations through CommunityGiving to maximize impact for donors and communities through shared expertise, lowered shared costs and increased efficiencies.
