Each of our funds serve a specific purpose and are making an impact in our community.
These funds, listed below, are among the more than 500 funds that the Central Minnesota Community Foundation administers for individuals and nonprofit agencies.
An endowed fund that awards grants annually on a competitive basis to organizations who work with girls, women in transition, or elder women.
An endowed fund that awards scholarships to women in transition who are students at the College of St. Benedict, St. Cloud State University, and St. Cloud Technical and Community College.
An endowed fund that awards grants annually on a competitive basis to organizations that provide physical activities for girls, preferably in the outdoors.
An endowed fund that currently awards grants to two organizations that work with women in developing countries: Freedom from Hunger and Global Fund for Women. Eventually, the Women’s Fund Grants Committee will advise grants from the fund.
A fund that provides scholarship assistance to residents of Anna Marie’s, a shelter for battered women and their children, as they seek to gain financial independence.
A fund that supports the Starfish program that mentors women to empower them to financial, emotional, intellectual, and physical self-sufficiency.
