St. Cloud, Minn. – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) Arts Fund is pleased to announce they have awarded 6 grants totaling $35,000. The GREAT Theatre received $6,000, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota $6,000, WACOSA $5,000, Great Northern Theatre Company $5,000, St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra $7,500 and Whitney Senior Center-City of St.Cloud $5,500.

Grochow was a Senior Development Officer at the College of St. Benedict and has over 18 years of experience in philanthropy. She received her undergraduate in Business Administration Management from the University of Minnesota-Mankato and her master's degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University in St. Paul.

The first grant opportunity is from the Women’s Fund of the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. The Women’s Fund provides funding to projects and programs that focus on the following three areas: girls ages 10-18, women in transition and elder women.

Jim Schlenner is Senior Partner with the accounting and consulting firm Schlenner, Wenner & Co. Schlenner has over 35 years experience working with small and mid-sized businesses providing tax, accounting and consulting advice. He has served on various non-profit boards including St. Cloud Rotary, United Cerebral Palsy of Central Minnesota and the St. Cloud Hospital.

ST. CLOUD, MN – The third annual Women’s Fund Presents: Dancing With Our Stars LIVE was held yesterday, Monday, June 18, 2018 at the College of St. Benedict. The event raised $151,949 for local organizations that benefit women and girls. Over 600 people were in attendance to cheer on their favorite dancers and charities. This year’s event once again featured a dance competition between six local celebrities who had been paired with a professional partner for a chance to win up to a $15,000 grant for the non-profit program of their choice.

St. Cloud, Minn.— The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) announced today the opening of the Flooding in Somalia Fund. This fund was established to support humanitarian assistance and aid displaced people in Somalia due to flooding.
