It all started with Region 5 surveying the five-county area and led to the development of a comprehensive plan that includes:

• Natural Resources and Development Patterns

Local leaders have offered their time and talent in developing the plans and strategies for implementation. The Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation and our Community Programs Committee helped rank and finalize the region's top 4 priorities:

3. Affordable Housing
4. Connectivity
