Catholic Charities, Salvation Army and St. Joseph Food Shelves to Benefit
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – We have less than 72 hours until the annual Charity Challenge ends and we still need your help to reach our goal! As of today, we are nearly $200,000 away from reaching, $625,000, the record setting amount we raised in 2020. With your help, we can beat our goal and provide more funding for our area food shelves during this winter season.
If you would like to make a donation, contributions can be sent directly to any of the following eligible food shelves to the attention of “Food Shelf Charity Challenge:”

The Norman C. Skalicky Foundation, in partnership with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF), host the annual Charity Challenge. The fundraiser helps benefit the Catholic Charities, Salvation Army and St. Joseph Food Shelves. Last year, an outstanding amount of just over $625,000 was raised thanks to our philanthropic community. Over the past two decades, the Charity Challenge has raised more than $4.9 million to support local food shelves, leaving a lasting impact within our Central Minnesota communities.
The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local community. Since 1985, CMCF has grown to over $147.6 million in assets and awarded over $134.5 million in grants to non-profits. The CMCF is governed by a local board of directors and is a partner of CommunityGiving, which is a collaborative of community foundations united under a single framework to create efficiencies that maximize the impact of our donors. Collectively, CommunityGiving administers over 900 funds totaling nearly $201 million. Learn more at CommunityGiving.org/CentralMN.
