
Alexandria, Minn. – The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) and CommunityGiving are pleased to announce the hiring of A.J. Koewler as the Executive Director for the Alexandria Area Community Foundation.
Sally Smith, Board Chair of the AACF states, “We are truly excited for A.J. to begin her work as the new Executive Director of the AACF. Her experience in the sector of philanthropy and community building will help guide the AACF as we continue to grow and to create an impact in our community.”
A.J. Koewler has nearly 13 years of experience working in the nonprofit and community relations sector in the Twin Cities. Most recently she was the Sr. Corporate Relationship Officer for Greater Twin Cities United Way where she was responsible for managing the year-round relationships with companies to increase revenue for the organization.

The Alexandria Area Community Foundation (AACF) attracts and administers charitable funds for the benefit of the local Alexandria area. Since 1992, AACF has grown to over $7.6 million in assets and awarded over $6.6 million in grants to nonprofits.
