The Derby Recreation Commission Fund is dedicated to helping provide free Lifeguard Certification classes to motivated individuals through the Derby Recreation Center. Because training can be costly, many people don’t have the opportunity to become certified. The fund enables individuals to gain professional lifeguarding skills, secure employment, and contribute to water safety in our community. When the endowment is fully funded, free certification classes will be offered to those working for the DRC.

Thanks to a generous $20,000 community match, every dollar given to the Derby Recreation Commission Fund goes twice as far.
