Guardians of Conservation Fund

The Guardians of Conservation are seeking community support to help bring new endangered animal habitats to Hemker Park & Zoo—including spaces for the endangered Amur leopard, endangered tiger, and a new endangered red panda habitat.

To make this vision a reality, we’ve established the Guardians of Conservation Fund. Community members, businesses, and organizations are invited to contribute and play a direct role in protecting these rare and threatened animals.

These new habitats are part of a broader mission to:

  • Protect endangered species locally and globally
  • Connect families and schools to conservation education in meaningful ways
  • Promote equity and access by offering opportunities for all ages to engage with wildlife and learn about sustainability
  • Advance animal welfare by providing state-of-the-art habitats that mirror natural environments for endangered animals

Your gift helps create a future where endangered species not only survive—but thrive. Together, we can ensure that the Amur leopard, tiger, red panda, and many more endangered species continue to inspire, educate, and bring joy to our community and beyond.

Make a gift today to support making this vision a reality!
