St. Cloud, Minn. – A grant round that helps support organizations that serve those with special needs is open through the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. The Central Minnesota Special Needs Fund grant round supports programming that serves those with complex intellectual and physical disabilities.
The grant application deadline for the Central Minnesota Special Needs grant is October 31, 2025.
Last year, the Central Minnesota Special Needs grant round was able to grant out $30,000. The following organizations received Central Minnesota Special Needs Grants:
- $6,700 was awarded to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud for its Therapeutic Engagement Project.
- $10,000 was awarded to ConnectAbility of MN for its equipment program.
- $3,800 was awarded Pleasantview Elementary (ISD #47) to purchase adaptive tricycles.
- $9,500 was awarded to WASCOSA for its Lift Us Up Project.
Eligible organizations must be 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, schools or governmental entities. The grant must serve the residents of Benton, Stearns or Sherburne counties or the communities of Kimball or Watkins.
